Our starter packages include all the preventative care treatments we recommend for any newly adopted pet Guinea Pig, Rat or Mouse. If you have adopted an older Rodent who is already desexed and/or microchipped, you may find that our rodent health check bundle is more suitable. Our Rodent Starter Package covers all the essentials to give your pet the healthiest start to life. It includes a full health check, dental assessment, and a detailed husbandry review to ensure their environment and care meet best practice standards.

Microchipping is done at the time of desexing for minimal stress, and desexing helps reduce unwanted behaviours and prevents certain health issues, especially in females. We also include a nail clip to keep those tiny toes in top shape!

This bundle not only sets your rodent up for long-term wellness, it also offers great value — with significant savings compared to individual treatments.

If your pet has already received any of the services offered as part of the Starter Package, we may be able to offer another service in its place. Please contact us to see if we can accommodate your pet’s individual requirements.

As the Starter Packages are already heavily discounted, no further discounts apply for additional pets.

Unfortunately as the Starter Packages are purchased up-front, we do not allow any modifications of cancellations once the package has been purchased.

While there are no age restrictions, there may be a surcharge of up to $100 for mature and/or overweight female rodents, due to the increased time associated with the desexing procedure.
