Frequently Asked Questions

Our starter packages include all the preventative care treatments we recommend for any newly adopted pet rabbit. If you have adopted an older rabbit who is already vaccinated, desexed and/or microchipped, you may find that our rabbit health check bundle is more suitable.

Our rabbit starter package ensures that your pet is protected against the deadly Calicivirus, is desexed to reduce the risk of cervical cancer (females), or aggression and behavioural issues (both sexes) developing as they get older.

The treatments covered in the Rabbit Starter Package not only give you peace of mind that your pet is protected against common illnesses, it carries significant savings – up to $684!

If your rabbit has already received any of the services offered as part of the Starter Package, we may be able to offer another service in its place. Please contact us to see if we can accommodate your rabbit’s individual requirements.

As the Starter Packages are already heavily discounted, no further discounts apply for additional pets.

Unfortunately as the Starter Packages are purchased up-front, we do not allow any modifications of cancellations once the package has been purchased.

While there are no age restrictions, there may be a surcharge of up to $100 for mature and/or overweight female rabbits, due to the increased time associated with the desexing procedure.

Your rabbit deserves the best veterinary care in Sydney. Whether it’s a routine check-up, vaccination, gut stasis episode, dental care, or emergency treatment, The Wild Vet is here to help.
