How Often Should My Dog See the Vet?
We recommend that adult dogs receive a health check at least once a year, with more frequent visits often recommended for puppies, senior dogs and dogs with ongoing health conditions.
Regular health checks allow us to monitor your dog’s weight and body condition, teeth, skin, ears, eyes, heart, joints and general health, as well as review vaccination, parasite prevention, nutrition and any changes you may have noticed at home.

I just wanted to write a big thank you to Dr Emma and the whole team at The Wild Vet for all the help and care given when I had to bring my dog in the other day after he developed quite a significant limp. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to Dr Emma for saving my 13 year old dog’s life. He had a massive tumour that was constricting his breathing and it was either complicated surgery or euthanasia.
