How Often Should My Cat See the Vet?
We recommend that adult cats receive a health check at least once a year, with more frequent checks often recommended for kittens, senior cats and cats with ongoing health conditions.
Cats can be very good at hiding signs of illness, so subtle changes in appetite, thirst, weight, toileting, mobility, grooming or behaviour can be important. Regular health checks allow us to monitor your cat’s weight and body condition, teeth and oral health, skin, ears, eyes, heart, joints and general wellbeing, as well as review vaccination, parasite prevention and nutrition.
